Fall 2023 Updates

During October, 2023 the Newton Tree Conservancy changed its Community Tree Planting application from a static PDF to a more automated forms-based solution. The Plantings webpage (https://www.newtontreeconservancy.org/plantings) was updated to reflect this, including changes to the content of that webpage and a button labeled START APPLICATION with which homeowners would complete their applications.

As detailed in the Plantings webpage, a planting group leader would chose and specify in their application a name for their neighborhood planting group. The leader would then supply this name to their neighbors who would enter this name when they submitted their applications.
